NEED HELP FAST UNKNOWN EA82 PART

Featured Replies

So I took my motor apart about a week n a half ago and this little guy just fell idk where from. Going together now need to know where it goes.

I haven't seen something like that before. It almost looks like an end to a pushrod but the subie's don't have  pushrods. What were you messing with when it fell out? what part of the engine?

I can't tell from that view.  It's not a push rod like any I've seen.  The end would have to be more of a ball shape, and shiny from the contact.

Interesting topic... I had a ball bearing fall out the cam case and found that it had been cruzing around hell it even went for a spin around the camshaft.. still using same cam.. all is good.. I think people purposely try to kill the cars! But why?

It looks almost like the top of a lifter but bigger and I don't recall 100% it just fell off I when I took one of my heads off. I ignored it at the time which was a mistake because now I worry about it

It doesn't ring any bells for me. I've had dozens of those engines to pieces and back but it's probably been 6-8 years since I've been inside an EA82. Still.... I don't believe that's an engine component.

Only thing that makes sense to me is that it's from a broken clutch cable assuming it has a hole all the way through it.

Oh my Lord it does look like a clutch cable piece. Can anyone confirm?
