Found this little gadget on the net and thought, the price is right, and if the claims are correct...beauty, it'll pay for itself!

But, has anyone ever used such a device or agree with the claims of %20 better fuel economy and some more horses to accompany that. Also, found the part about turbo vehicles quite interesting, that one can place one of these before and after the turbo, and it will spool at 600rpm lower than "normal"...?

Thought you guys might be interested, and can anyone suggest whether or not it looks like its worthwhile, and suitable for the EA82T?

Cheers

Dean

It's a scam from what I know. There is quite a few of these turds on the market.

No way man those things are the Shiz…. I made my own from a shredded Bud can, it doubled my mileage and added 100 Hp, my ’82 Camaro has never ran better. And it’s a big hit with chicks in my trailer park.

P.S. no intended offence to those who like ’82 Camaro’s or trailer parks.

i jacked on outta a car at a junk yard, put into my cone filter on the impreza, no complaints, i kow it improved throttle response and might have helped gas milage. my friend used to work for the government, he said the every one of their vans and jeeps had one of those turbo tornado things in em, they really help with v8's from what i understand.

When you see something like this, always ask yourself why it's not on production vehicles if it's such a hot item?

Silly, simply silly. Might as well burn your money for heat.

While I agree that they are silly, I think that question in equally silly in regards to our 15+ year old cars.. That train of thought completely nullifies the possible benefits of any modification.

Ever heard the term Snake oil?

I take snake oil every day. its good for my liver :D

Jeeze, lay off, I was equally suspicious, but who knows, anything for increased fuel economy is worth checking out... and its not like i bought the damn thing!

Oh, and i'm just a naive first car owner, just getting interested in cars, so there is some sort of reasoning behind what you presume to be pure gullibility!

that will just make more turbulence, that your cone filter is supposed to reduce. and its a restriction, making your air slow down.

pure bs! use mobil1, guaranteed mpg improvement.

Just some friendly ribbing; nothing personal. Someone seriously posts about these once a month. I think you are a pretty sharp person you would have already bought one!

Consider it your initiation :D

Peace
