Ej25 gasket ?s

Would it be ok to use auto parts store brand gaskets and seals for stuff like oil pan, rear main seal, the little gasket things the cover the piston retainer clip things, or should i just order subaru brand only for these harder to reach gaskets?

Absolutely not. Subaru only on all that.

Oil pan is glued on. Get the current three bond from the Nissan dealer. You will also need a weird small caulking gun made by Permatex. Local parts houses should be able to get them for about $5.

When you say three bond are you talking about this part number?

Nissan Part No.: 999MP1217HP

THREEBOND 1217H

Just attached for future reference. A former Subaru mech I used loved that (expensive) Right Stuff....Nissan 3-bond is a better deal.

I like the right stuff only because you can put it on like an oil pan. You can immediately fill it with oil and drive it. No waiting an hour or more to drive the car.

(not sure if that's how the Nissan 3 bond works or not)
