May 19, 20196 yr Easier than an EJ conversion but not as good. It shouldn’t be too hard. Someone who’s done it will chime in no worries. Cheers Bennie
May 19, 20196 yr New or used? Manual choke I hope - just seen what I think was the Weber copy on Datsun 180 B engine in a VW van and even though it had just been sorted by an auto elec I saw nothing to suggest e- choke was working and need to be hand suffocated to start. Follow Loyale 2.7 guide strictly and should be a piece of cake
May 19, 20196 yr Depends on who you ask. For most people it's a weekend. For me it's like 3-4 hours. GD
May 20, 20196 yr I had mine done by someone who knew how, took a couple of hours if I remember correctly. It was done by a member I connected with here but he hasn't shown up on the forum in years.
May 20, 20196 yr Piece of cake. Once I got all the lines connected up that I need to run, I removed everything else so you can't see any other anti-pollution crap that should be under there but isn't hooked up. Plan all your vacuum line placement before removing anything, depending on how and where you want to run your new vacuum and fuel lines, it may pay to go and get what you think you will need before you start. Depending on the adapter being used, pay particular attention to how it mounts and make sure it covers the water jacket in the manifold. Cheers, Al
