Blooroo86xtGL Posted June 13, 2020 Share Posted June 13, 2020 I’m currently rebuilding my XT and the previous owner said water pump was leaking but when i took off AC compressor i found out that the hose going INTO the water pump completely rotted away. Spoke to Subaru and they were able to give me part numbers but nobody has it, does anyone possible have a spare i can buy off them or i might have to find a fabricator to make me something like it. Found a website that has it but i never heard of it so I don’t want to resort to it unless i have to. Subaru part number is 14050AA001. GeneralDisorder Posted June 14, 2020 Share Posted June 14, 2020 That's the standard EA82 water pipe. Discontinued. Any pipe from 85 to 94 should work the same. Those rot out frequently. Or bend some tube if that’s a good fit but it has a groove to hold an oring that seals into the water pump. If that angle and seating isn’t right it’ll leak. Ionstorm66 Posted June 16, 2020 Share Posted June 16, 2020 How bad is the leak? If it's just some pin holes, jb weld on the inside will work.
