Iridium spark plugs in a 1990 ej22?

I bought some NGK BKR6EGP iridium spark plugs. Will those work well in my 30+ yr. old ej22? They all appear to be pre-gapped at .037 in.

totally unnecessary in an EJ22 - best plug for those is basic copper core NGK

the iridium plugs are spec'ced for certain models, but they would be MUCH newer than anything with an EJ22 in it.

Just get cheap NGK plugs and gap them at 25. They will put less stress on the ignition system and last longer with a smaller gap.

    They're so easy to replace in that engine, use the correct NGK recommended plug.
