Ok, that’s jibberish to me. 

I’m guessing you’re wanting to drop some VW diesel in an L series GL or GL-10 or XT6/Vortex. 

What gearbox would you use?

that diesel is short enough?

there were some Subaru diesel crate engines available at one time, or source a used one from overseas?

 

back in the 70s, folks were putting Kubota diesels in some small cars.......

 

or maybe a Mazda wankel ?

Pardon my ignorance but please tell me if there’s a real advantage or if you’re just having fun with bits laying around you’d wanted to play with ? 
 

Ok I edited , I’m guessing low torque for the off-roading which is where PK comes in.
