Just spoke to CCR engines

Featured Replies

All is can say is WOW!!!! I spoke to Emily and she was incredibly knowledgeable and on top of her game. She seemed to know everything and was more than extremely helpful. I do not think I have dealt with someone as cordial, knowledgeable, and unbiased in a long time as I did with her just now. They will definately get my business if/when that time comes. She answered questions truthfully that most shops would have answered with what they thought you wanted to hear, but not this shop, they told it how it was.. PROPS to this company!!!

thats great. one thing i have noticed, is that alot of the shops, that are subaru specific, are so tired of hearing from kids from the usmb, that often they give you the short answer, and arent too helpfull, because they get the same call day after day.

Yeah both Emily and Rick are nice people I have talked with them for a few years so far when they are online :) just ask Emily about her flowers she is very knowledgable about those too :)

That's maybe why they have been in business for so long now cause they are honest and right to the point about all things

From past personal experience CCR is certainly the best and deserving of any business you can send them.

I've bought two from them, the last one we went and picked up at their shop. We got the grand tour and I'll tell you what........... It's like the santa's work shop of Subarus!!!!! We really enjoyed meeting them too. Now help them out and buy a motor!!!! Later, Tim

I like CCR alot.

I bought a motor from them when I blew a HG a few years back, and could not pull off a rebuild myself in a reasonable amount of time. They definitely deliver the goods, and make it easy to get your Sube back on the road fast.

The motor they sent was ready to go without any hassles at all. They really do know their sh*t, and it shows in the end product. This is about as close to a "sure bet" as you'll ever find in a rebuilt engine.

Emily is great to talk to. She's a classic Sube derelict. Just make sure you have lots of unlimited minutes on your calling plan...

EA82 w/ Delta cams: $1250. 3% sales tax, no shipping if I drive over the pass.

Now that I think about it, it may be cheaper to ship to Moab, rather than pay in-state tax.

Anywho, guess what I'm spending my next student loan on?

Word to the wise....Don't buy RECON Company rebuild engines..I've had nothing but bad luck..Had to have one engine replaced due to rings, Then had to have a

head replaced due to bad heli kit they used and now the hydrolic lifters are going bad on this engine..Good thing I have a 3 year warranty
