West Coast Subaru Show 7 Thread (real deal)

Featured Replies

I've sold my last hatch, a blue one I made after last year's show. Moved on to EJ land.

My OBS should be able to play by July. It's already half lifted, has 27 inch mudders. . .

I'm not afraid to cover it with mud. :drunk:

Sounds good. I wasn't sure if you still had the hatch or not. I want to see the OBS in the mud!!

What would it cost? Maybe Mason County would be interested? Wildfires are definitely serious business. I hope you have a very quiet summer.

cost? I could probably call it a 'test flight' and not worry about it

hopefully if there are fires, they're well away from property and general civilization.

He might have meant, How much for a pic? :brow:

For an aerial pic? Nada :brow:

It flies via a joystick on a pc with live video from the forward looking camera.

If it's ready by then and we're not busy elsewhere, I can most likely make it to the show.

Well, I don't know for sure, but since the camping arrangements are between you and the fairgrounds, I'd say you could get there anytime. But will you be camping in the correct spot? That's a risk you would be taking. I'll let Ken or Eric give you the final word on this. I will probably be there early Friday, hopefully sometime before noon to set up a registration tent where people will come and check in.

If you wanna come up Thursday, you'll have to grab a Hotel. There's a HUGE casino/hotel just a couple miles away. We won't be allowed onto the fairgrounds till Friday. Everyone has to be gone Sunday night. They're a little more strict about that than Hood River. . .

Wow... thats some info that i wish i knew. I wasnt planning on driving out until Monday Morning... but I guess I'll be getting home 12hrs earlier than planned.

But... whats this i hear about a casino??? :brow: I think i found where to spend a couple extra hours :)

Not before me you don't! That's good to know, I don't THINK I'll make it up there thursday night, but I was wondering. It'd be a 13 hour drive from Reno (More or less depending on how I drive:) ) so I **could** make it in a day, but maybe I'll rethink that.

I live fairly close to the show site. If some of you who are coming from further away would like to crash here the night before, I'm certain we can dig up some couch/floor space. Just try to let me know in advance, please.

I'm figuring on leaving The Ranch bright & early Thursday, probably crashing in Eugene (as we did for WCSS3),and arriving at the show in late morning. Brian, if you want to do that again (goes for you too, JB and Jeremy), we can hit a hotel (a different one this time:rolleyes: )...I'm getting too old for those 13 hour "bombing runs" anymore:lol: .

I'm all for that plan. I think we should all head up in a group so we can help each other out if murphys law kick in.

hey subieman what are you bringin to the show?

I should be driving my 84 GL. :)

I think I have a set of fairly new Subaru replacement doors (right side) for your wagon, they are sitting around taking up space. You want them for spares??

Thanks for the offer. But I really don't need them.

Yea, now you don't, but who knows when you might. Think about it, if you want them, I can bring them fo WCSS7.

Hey Guys,

My projects are not going as quickly as I'd hoped. I have so much to get done before WCSS7.......

Can we push this thing back a month or so
