Dual Cooling Fans in the Brat??

Featured Replies

So I got a "new to me" radiator from Ryker. Thank you Ryker! Well he brought it with an extra fan and fan shroud.. I was gonna go dual fans on my radiator but The fan shroud wont fit in between the water pump pulley and radiator.. is my front end crushed up too close or is this normal?? Do i need a special kind of fan? Mechanical instead of electrical doesnt seem worth it?? Is there a thinner pulley I can stick right there?? Thinner Electric fan? Suggestions??

You need an A/C fan, which is skinnier than the larger Grey fan. The A/C fan is black and you should have some plugs already wired in the brat to accept them.

If your brat was never intended for A/C it might not fit. Ive never seen one that wasnt though.

Hello McBrat,

which carburetor you have on the Engine ?

Is this a EA81 Engine ?

Norbert

I have seen pics of his brat before and I believe it is a holley 600cfm carb on a ea81 engine. It looks sweet!

I have the mechanical fan on my turbo car but I want to swap to an electric one. How can I wire it up and still have it operate in the stock manner?
