I'm happy about the hatch back, not since 89 has such a fine car graced our shores. now, to figure out if Mudrat will lift it and if Super swampers will fit with minor trimming.

I seem to think I saw that concept picture a year or more ago. If you look at the picture, the new 06 Impreza already looks alot like that. If they came out with ANY form of a real hatchback though, it would just be so awesome. I love my 85 hatch, still miss it.

I'm thinking any type of 2 dr hatch or coupe COULD be a platform to offer another Brat-type vehicle from. I bet that coulod get some interest!

The chances are that subaru will create a new car to compete in the WRC or a completely different platform. The impreza has become a bloated pig in terms of weight. The new legacy weighs as much or less....and it's a bigger car!
