October 23, 200520 yr Scored from the j/y. Not bran new, but fel real nice compared to the ones that come with a 96. 9? Legacy LSI leather seats. Bolted right in. But I did have to change the female end of the seat belts attached to the seats. . . A couple of seat covers, and these will be as good as new.
October 23, 200520 yr a little tip you can try, if done right will make the seats look better.... Find some High Gloss latex-enamel paint that will dry to the color of your seats,, then Apply with a brush in about a 6"sq. area at a time, work the paint into the tares,, then quicky wipe the excess paint off of the leather with a clean moist ragg. make sure to remove all the paint from the good leather befor it drys. After the whole seat has been done, let dry, and if needed ,repeat the process Do Not use Oil based paints! then a coat of armor-all of something like it. If done right,,, it will look much better.
October 23, 200520 yr Author Appreciated, but I'm just gonna cover them with seat covers. The cold leather is no fun on cold days. . . Mostly I wanted that lumbar they didn't see fit to add to imprezas.
October 23, 200520 yr I think the leather seats are the most fun when there black and you spend the whole day at the beach and your car has ben sitting in the hot sun all day....UMM,WARM!
October 23, 200520 yr Mostly I wanted that lumbar they didn't see fit to add to imprezas. I could swear i have lumbar on my 96 imp... I'll have to check. Look real nice though
October 23, 200520 yr hey nice score! With seat covers, they will look as good as new. thats what i did to my old seats
October 24, 200520 yr then a coat of armor-all of something like it. If done right,,, it will look much better. Never use armor all prodcuts on Leather, or anything that you care about period. Lexol products are probally the best thing to use on Leather...
