Is that all thats included in the kit? If so, Im gonna have to jump on that and save me $100.

that should be it....i can't remember what all pulley/idlers are on an EA82, but i do recall that cogged sprocket and the two tensioners, can't remember any others off the top of my head.

 

 

NAPA show the kit online, you could compare?

Yeah, i compared when i was at work. Cant remember the Napa part number, but it had the 2 tensioners and the idler as well.

 

Guess i have no reason not to place the bid. The new engine will need em.

for less than $4 (1.88 and 1.94 i think) you can also get 2 new timing tensioner springs from www.thepartsbin.com and all the timing related stuff brand new.

I got that kit for my EA82 recently and the idlers and sprocket look great, The belts seem OK too, but they are made in China so time will tell if they will go for the full 60k. My guess is that they are shooting for the same specs as everybody else so they should be fine.

i bought a set from that guy also, look good, but have not put it on the car yet. so i have no idea if they are any good...

I have the same set from the same guy. Everything seems fine. Don't know if they'll last as long as others, but everything is better than what I had.

I just had an idler seize on me...I put one on from the parts engine...but I need a new kit....only 2 available now

Now all i need is the Subaru engine gasket kit. Turns out theres only one left in the US, hope I can get my hands on it.
