Here's a tip for everyone while at the junkyards: CHECK THE REAR TOOL PANELS ON ALL EA82's. I went to the local junkyard the other day and came away with:

- Brand new timing belt still in oem box

- 36 mm impact socket:slobber: :)

- 2 Brand new flathead screwdrivers

- 2 Subaru lug sockets still in subaru pouches

- 1 combo 12 and 14 mm wrench and 1 combo 8 and 10mm wrench

And Pick and Pull didn't even charge me cause they figured they were my tools:lol: :brow: So check those guys would ya? You never know what may have been left in them.

yeah , if i didn't have some of the tools i found at junkyards i would have half as many tools..

i am sure i have lost quite a few too:banghead:

Oh yes. I found twenty bucks in the underfloor of an EA82 wagon once...always worth a look.

I found a couple of metric sockets and one of those fold up camping shovels in my wagon when I bought it. Definitlely worth a look.

heh, yeah i've found alot of stuff in junkyard cars.. toolkits, repair manuals, tools.. ohh found a real handyman jack once, just needed new pins, lol.. it came out of an old forest service blazer..

then at the grocery store i found a $20 bill in the self checkouts change slot.. heh..

never found anything at a j/y, but i found a hundred dollar bill lying on the sidewalk once.

Yeah, I've found an unopened Subaru tool kit in a GL-10. It still had the thin clear plastic bag, sealed.

found: set of 3 brake pads, NIB
