December 30, 200520 yr Here's a tip for everyone while at the junkyards: CHECK THE REAR TOOL PANELS ON ALL EA82's. I went to the local junkyard the other day and came away with: - Brand new timing belt still in oem box - 36 mm impact socket:slobber: - 2 Brand new flathead screwdrivers - 2 Subaru lug sockets still in subaru pouches - 1 combo 12 and 14 mm wrench and 1 combo 8 and 10mm wrench And Pick and Pull didn't even charge me cause they figured they were my tools:lol: So check those guys would ya? You never know what may have been left in them.

December 30, 200520 yr Oh yes. I found twenty bucks in the underfloor of an EA82 wagon once...always worth a look.
December 30, 200520 yr I found a couple of metric sockets and one of those fold up camping shovels in my wagon when I bought it. Definitlely worth a look.
December 30, 200520 yr heh, yeah i've found alot of stuff in junkyard cars.. toolkits, repair manuals, tools.. ohh found a real handyman jack once, just needed new pins, lol.. it came out of an old forest service blazer.. then at the grocery store i found a $20 bill in the self checkouts change slot.. heh..

December 31, 200520 yr Yeah, I've found an unopened Subaru tool kit in a GL-10. It still had the thin clear plastic bag, sealed.
January 1, 200620 yr found: set of 3 brake pads, NIB change tools subaru tool kits 2 metal saucer sleds coat -- wore it out underware,
January 1, 200620 yr last week I was at the JY pulling the coveted slant console out of a EA71 hatch and glanced over in the passenger footwell.... ....what is staring back at me but a nice little rig (hypo needle) *shudder* gross
