hi,

ive been looking to buy a brat for a while and recently found an 82 for sale. I believe i had heard somewhere that parts (to the 82 in particular, since it was a conversion year) of these are hard to find. Is that really an issue? do the 82s have any special problems? do they have the problem with the rusting fenders? I thought that 82s had the cyclops light in the middle of the grill, but this one dosent, does that mean that it is not an 82?

I have an 82 with no cyclops light

since 82 is the first year of the generation 2s, are there any quirks associated with them? also ,if something breaks, are parts obtainable?

The 82's should have come with them?

The majority of parts should be interchangable with later gen 2 Brats.

i dont think that brats had the third light only wagons through 80-82. but not completely sure

Only 82 GL's had the center lamp. DL's did not.

Have 82 Gl came with third light.I don't know all the differences but did a

complete restoration on it and was able to adapt parts from wagons hatch backs even some latter model vechicles "ea82 stuff". Buy it, enjoy it, keep it alive !
