Ran into a problem the other day while shopping/parking in a major shopping center. I almost lost my car !!!

I live in the Pacific Northwest where Subarus grow on trees; needless to say, every fourth car on the road is a Soob- every third is an Outback, none of which seem to be "customized" in any way shape or form.

 

My question:

 

What have you done to customize your Subaru- Outback or otherwise?

 

Upgrades, mods, paint? Good, bad or ugly.

Help me with some ideas...

haha if ya had an subaru xt you wouldnt have that problem. be able 2 find it right away :-p

i havnt done much 2 my subarus. i just 2 toned 1 and another i fitted an big air scoop 2

I also have some very distinctive nicks and dents.

I have big lights on the front. Most of the other stuff you can't see.

I bouight a blue one It doesnt get lost in the sea of silver whites and blacks.

mine gets lost in the sauce too, so it tinted the window, came out of ace hardware and there were three in a row, all the same color with tinted windows. i had to look at my plates to find my car. so i made decals for the back windows.

I have added a variety of scrapes and taken out some patches of paint. Not too hard to figure out which is mine, especially on the east coast.

I drive a BRAT and those are as rare as virgins here in the southeast. I don't usually have that much trouble.

Crack your windshield and you're done.

car alarm, simply disarm and look for the flashing lights! decal on the back and tinted windows are a good seperator. but if all of that fails, the snapped retractable antenna is an obvious indicator. anybody replace their abused antennas before?

Sure its not a Outback, but my Legacy Sedan gets lost easy enough. Dents add character and you can always tell mine apart by the wheels. Easiest mod to do and makes such a big improvement to the looks of the car.

 

If by any chance some other persons white Legacy has Impreza rims - i just check the plates.
