April 13, 200718 yr now is it just me, or did these people COMPLETELY miss the ENTIRE point of the song?? I always thought that the meaning of "Fortunate Son" was pretty obvious, and it didnt have anything to do with having a crummy or unlucky day.... They managed to notice the line about the silver spoon, and time it so that he got his cereal spoon out just then.. but they somehow failed to grasp the meaning of the line....

April 13, 200718 yr Author yea they completly missed the point of "fortunate son".Its supposed to be poor/not attending college so they ship you down to 'nam because of the draft.the only ways to get out of it is A)Move to canada, attending college, or C) be a congressperson's son/daughter or be son/daughter of someone high up in the millitary...or be rich.
April 25, 200718 yr Any notice the rusty white GL wagon jamming through the snow. with a jump ramp welded to the front. That is "flashed " during the discovery channel's "stunt junkies" ad ? I did not see the show that the stunt was in. Maybe a snow boarder jumping a moving car for ????? Anyone catch the episode?
