what size engine do you have?

 

mine has a 3 hp engine on it.

 

I just put a new seat in mine last night (it was the only thing missing when I bought it...)

 

it still has the "mini-cars" sticker on the floor of the chassis

 

I'm gonna let my son drive it around without the body for a while so he gets used to it and doesn't smash it up

Any chance you could use the shell to make molds out of. Then you could make fiberglass bodies and then we can all make mini brats!!! :banana:

Careful, there may still be a valid design patent on those Brat bodies. Although, given the age, it may well have expired ... but I'd check before pirating the shells.

no worries, I can always make my own shell out of foam and then fiberglass it.

Is the chassis a rear engine design?

 

I am not sure if I will make molds, but it is possible to get urethane foam sheets and then fit them together and fiberglass the whole thing. If I plan to do it I will take pictures and give measurements. my idea is a 1/3 scale BRAT. basically one big enough to fit into the bed of the BRAT.
