tire question on EA stock wheels.

Featured Replies

I just found that Sumitomo makes a 13 inch tire that is 205/60/13 and 215/50/13.

Is 215 too wide for the stock EA wheel?

Yeah. That 215 tire is 8+ inches wide and unless you found some old enkeis or some other wheel that was the same 5.5" width, you still would be hard pressed to fit them on there. You would need wheels about 6.5-7.5" wide wheels for those tire sizes.

would the 205 fit? If so, those would be great on the Brat.

Yes they will fit but may be a little squeeze.

The 215 is huge for a little 13" rim!:burnout:

My brother had 215/60R13's running on 5.5" wide fiat rims.

How wide are the stock Subie rims again?

205/60R13's on 5" rims might be alright. But expect a little uneven tire wear anyhow. Well, thats over what the Subie will do to wear itself.

I ran the 205's on my RX, with the front end dropped and had no rubbing problems at all.

Was lookin for a pic, but I dont think i have one with the tires mounted. They were great tires, and a great price.

205/50R13 i believe is what I ran, maybe it was the 60 series, its been so long.
