October 16, 200718 yr So, Once upon a time I read: "In fact, if it weren't for synthesized lubricants-and their ability to withstand high temperatures-modern jet aircraft engines simply wouldn't exist." October 16, 200718 yr Well the problem in the justy is the oiled part and the non oiled part. The non oiled part is the powdered clutch (and that usually the brushes). A brave man drives a just with an ecvt. nipper

I bought one 4WD ECVT that was redone to the tune of something like $1600.00 by Cottman. Supposed to have a new belt in it, etc, etc. It is toast after not too many thousand miles. I'll open it up this winter and look around. BTW, the tires on the car are oversized and don't match. I got it in "West. bu God, Virginia. Snow was flying that day, in the mountains. Doug
October 30, 200718 yr How hard is it to swap a 5spd 4wd into a Justy that has the ECVT? If'n I had the complete drivetrain to go with it. Ah, ok. Just did a quick serach (duh) and it sounds like Bratsrus did a 5spd swap into a ECVT before.
