Just curious How many of you know Sean Sexton from Portland, OR. ??

I was just over at his shop on tuesday why?

I was just curious how popular he was with the soob junkies. I have met him in the past and my brother-in-laws are personal friends of his. I heard he is a genius with these soobs. I have never talked to him about them though.

Good guy and he does know his stuff. Spends most of his time with the new stuff. His turbo'd n/a 2.5RS is the baddest.

I've known him since highschool. (early 80s) He was a gear head then.

He usually only works on new cars cuz that's all that come his way. He'll work on your older car if you bring it to him.

He built the fastest ea82t that I've ever driven. Quicker than a WRX in the quarter mile.

He know Subarus. Came up with a way to turbo my weber even. . .

Yes Matt, Sean built the (estimated 160 HP I hear) RX that was fast at the rallycrosses. I wanted to buy it, but couldnt afford to buy the whole modified package

I first met Sean at Zap's house. He rolled up in the Rally RX. I heard tales of it, and saw how far on the floor MikeW's jaw was when he got back from a ride. After seeing that car, i knew that I was going to have an RX one day.

 

Luckily I was able to find one, bought it off MikeW. If I had the money, and the time, I would be in Oregon as much as possible tuning my car. But, it hasn't gone to him yet. I plan on doing all that I can do to make my RX the ultimate rx. Straight line and cornering, it will do it all.

 

I'm well on my way, and I got a chance to talk to Sean at the Tree Thing a couple weeks back. He was impressed with what I had done. We talked a lot of theory, about what works, and what doesn't.

 

Hehe, wow that turned into a lot. Anyways, some of that is on topic, some is not.

 

BTW, Matt, if I had had the space to put this car, you wouldn't have gotten it. I hope you do the car right. Feel free to come try and learn from me.
