April 28, 200817 yr hey all im kinda in a jam with my current subaru condition the car runs like a champ but i cant get the clutch pedal to engauge the clutch so it wont shift so i was wodering if there is anyone around that might be knowledgeable on the subject an be willing to take a look at it so i can have something to drive because borrowing a tahoe to commute sucks gas like no other
April 29, 200817 yr you could always float the gears lol nah check the cable I'm thinkin thats the problem too
April 29, 200817 yr Author it worked before just the clutch needed replaced and thats all i did so i dont know why the cable wouldnt work now?

April 29, 200817 yr If the cable had snapped the clutch pedal wouldn't return after you stomp it to the floor. I still think the cable is out of adjustment.

April 29, 200817 yr I had to adjust the pedal on my Starion after changing the clutch. if it was really worn down and you put in a new one then that's what the effect would be without adjustment no able to put it in gear. (or really hard to)
April 29, 200817 yr Author yea i should have put this in the OP but the pedal feels like its not even hooked up it has no resistance at all but when i had someone push it in i could see the cable moving so idk
