This has been posted once already, but still pretty.

I dont know if i like the full restoration. Regan, love him or hate him, was a former President, and was most likely responsible for most the dings, dents, scratches and sweat marks in the car.

Sort of like washing the Shroud Of Turin to get that nasty stain out....

I remember;

a posting of this BRAT being for sale on E-Bay,

buyer posting of his purchase of said BRAT,

buyer saying he "donated" it to the Regan Museum.

Don't remeber;

who it was,

it being "that" long ago.......

Not sure I go along with the "full restoration" of it either. It's no longer the BRAT he owned, just a "copy" of it.

Yes,,, it may very well be "THE BRAT", BUT,,,,, it_is_not_the_same_one!!

Didn't he have an EA81 Brat as well?

Thought I had seen something on it last year. In a museum or something now.

I sure don't see what difference it makes what dents he or his farm hands put into it. The Brat is beautiful and thats enough for me. At least it didn't get crushed like 95 percent of the ones originally built did by now.

+1 for the restoration. That Brat looked worn and torn, and if they are going to have it on perminant display at his Ranch, I believe it should look like it did the day he drove it home from the Dealer. Im sure they did some restoration on his ranch as well, so its only fitting.

Its a spectacular piece of history. It made mention of an Enthusiast named Todd... would that be Subaru3 by chance?

they should give "ride along ranch tours" using the BRAT and let people ride in the jumpseats.....
