Subaru wheeling looks so different now a days.They had stock tires,no lift, and maybe a brush guard.

 

Now we have super swampers on 15" rims with 6" of lift, welded diffs, and EJ engine swaps...

I think the green wagon would have been a s/r 4spd (correct me if I'm wrong). That would explain why it had such a hard time. It's crazy how high up they sit with fresh factory suspension... pretty much no need for a lift!!

yea I watched some of them.

The green one and maybe a couple of the other ones were probably only 1600cc engines as well. My 1800 Weber does great.
