This is the pic from the ad posted on ebay for the car that I bought. I've been trying to figure out what this decal on the top of the motor says. The last digit looks like a 6, being it's in a XT-6 that part makes sense. What's the rest? Sure I could wait until I picked the car up next week but curiousity killed the cat don't you know...

so for now I'll go to ebay and look for the closed auctions with subaru to see if i can find said XT6 sticker in a picture :>)

yep...every subaru engine is horizontally opposed except for the Justy which was an inline 3

Nope, the xt-6 has the 2.7L ER27 and the SVX has the 3.3L EJ33 and the Outback H-6 has the 3.0L EZ30

Mine says Subaru H6 in big letters, then under that in small print is "6-cylinder 2.7 Liter" It jes tells people whot you have under the hood.

You know I've been pondering stuffing a EZ30 in to my 84 wagon, since it takes up less space then the ER27.

He hasn't said so on here yet, but this is dadeeo's 1st ever Subaru. Thinking an XT-6, even a rusty one, is hella good 1st score.
So, he'll be having lots of questions about things that be Subaru. I'm trying to help him, but I'm still a newbie myself. But I'm a learning.
