well from what i've seen on this msg board, the er27 can barely handle itself due to issues with the heads and what not. but you should be able to get some good power outta that thing. if that thing runs at 150hp stock, with twin turbos id expect that thing to be running around around 250hp with a fair amount of boost. fyi, the rx that ran in the wrc was an Ea82T boosted up to 15+ lbs of boost:eek: ...thats rediculous to think of:grin:  good luck man!!!! -Dalton

i'd have to know by like thursday if it was going to happen or not cuz i have to request the day off. but other than that, im down to chill. the wagon could use some serious attention, but if that was to happy a also have a brat that could use some work. ignition is all muffed up so im currently driving it around after a compression start (lol) that and fix the air injection system. but i can get that thing with a moving permit and come over if nobody wants to come out to palamino valley:-\ will one of you guys give me a call on thursday to let me know whats going on since i dont hit up the board very much anymore. but let me know whats going on guys, give me some time to request a day off(2-3 days) the subaru kid -Dalton -

yeah i think i'd like the more room myself.... and you can always install an xt6 clutch with ease on an Ea82. i was thinking along the lines of a '87ish wagon, with a six inch lift...some 28" tires, some lights and othere than that........thats about it...maybe a set of all terrians,...or some mudders and some street'ers. it'll be awhile tho...ill never be able to afford a six inch sjr lift... i want it silver too,...with some red decals. -Dalton

or you can keep them both and then if something goes wrong, you have a reliable transportation,...and 2 soobies!!! good find -Dalton -
still.... i think Ea82 wagons look really sweet with a lift, and they are always for sale around here for cheap, just put on an sjr 6 in kit and some 28's and that thing will be rollin. i think they are alot roomy'er than Ea81's and have more options... more opinions please? pics would be cool too. -Dalton

seen it? hell i've driven it lol -Dalton
-
thanks zap. yeah i think they look a little bettter than ea81's lifted tho.

well i talked to the guys down at airport auto and got the prices of their subie engines and this is what i got.... EJ18- 350$ EJ22-650$-750$ EJ25 dohc(rs + turbo)-2500$$ no 22T's and no 20G's i forgot to ask about eg33's and ez30's tho but thats what i got outta that...im thinking it would be better to just do a 2.2 n/a swap anyways...but still. -Dalton

i've thought this for a while, but i have seen a couple really clean ea82 wagons and stuff, and i think they look awesome lifted! how do you like them, compared to your lifted Ea81's? i like them. do they perform as good or better than the gen 2's? cool thanks -Dalton
