Hello all Im looking for some help. my uncle in law ( i think thats how you say that) is a subaru nut and needs some help locating parts. he recently looked into geting a driver crank door for his 88 gl and was quoted over $200 smackers from a jy! he is not internet savy so im here on his behaf. he lives in orange county but is willing to travel to save some cash. clear out to jashua tree if need be. curently on his shoping list is a shift boot, ash tray, driver crank door ( gray would be nice but not nessary ) and cheap cv axles. let me know if you can help! thanks for looking.

El Toro replied to El Toro's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXya i figured the sloaped area was out of the question but just beond that is flat and i would not need anything fancy just the old pivot style would be fine.

about to buy a svx, questions to svx owners
El Toro replied to El Toro's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXhe said it ran with a jump so i will be able to drive it. i hate auto though and have heard of a 5 speed swap from a legacy in conversations out side the board. any one done this? and if so what donor car did you use?

about to buy a svx, questions to svx owners
so I'm going out to look at a svx and was wondering what to look out for. the guy said he installed a alt and it blew or something and wires may need to be replaced. otherwise is sounds like a good car. any info on these would be nice. looking for info about your experiences with a svx.
