  2. gnarly bumper man! I'm sure no one will cut you off on the highway. just a sugestion....get some rattle can black and shoot everything below the bumper. will help visually to add lift and look clean. ru on!!
  3. nice to see another lifted ru in Kitsap! i personally say start with the rear. it tends to be easer and gives you motivation to complete the rest. send me a pm. i could probably hook up and lend a hand. Ru's stick together
  4. same thing happend to my 86 might be the float on your carb going up hill the iddle would rise , down hill it would level out
  5. holy off set bat man!!! nice plate on the dif. less likely to catch on something. any chance of getting a closer shot of the dif skid plate?

  10. I have the hi as well but i drilled My bar and that droped my dif down a inch or so. honda springs But at stock settings. i have been thinking about making some dif blocks and lowering it proper.
  11. i have had good luck with my honda springs even with my AA lift. but like num said it will push them cv's to the edge. going on 3 years and have not lost a rear cv yet...knock on wood:banghead:

Hello all Im looking for some help. my uncle in law ( i think thats how you say that) is a subaru nut and needs some help locating parts. he recently looked into geting a driver crank door for his 88 gl and was quoted over $200 smackers from a jy! he is not internet savy so im here on his behaf. he lives in orange county but is willing to travel to save some cash. clear out to jashua tree if need be. curently on his shoping list is a shift boot, ash tray, driver crank door ( gray would be nice but not nessary ) and cheap cv axles. let me know if you can help! thanks for looking.
  16. ya i figured the sloaped area was out of the question but just beond that is flat and i would not need anything fancy just the old pivot style would be fine.
  17. i have a 02 outback and need some sun. any one install a aftermarket one for this generation yet? how did it go and are you happy with it?
  18. i think i will try a set. my front end has a ton of metal. might not need the cut. we will see......
  19. some one once said front springs from a ford tempo gave 1.5in lift plus a softer ride. still waiting for one to come through my local jy to see if its true.
  20. crank the towers....should give you a tad moer lift in front the put honda springs in the rear. just baby steps but soon you will have diabolical plans:burnout:

  23. he said it ran with a jump so i will be able to drive it. i hate auto though and have heard of a 5 speed swap from a legacy in conversations out side the board. any one done this? and if so what donor car did you use?
  24. so I'm going out to look at a svx and was wondering what to look out for. the guy said he installed a alt and it blew or something and wires may need to be replaced. otherwise is sounds like a good car. any info on these would be nice. looking for info about your experiences with a svx.
