ThreeEyedBandit replied to SubaSkeet's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
You are probably correct; there is most likely something going down with him and his family I suspect right now because, about two months ago we were talking about stuff and he described this same scenerio happening and not to worry. He would try to keep in contact and if he couldn't just give it time and he would get ahold of us, or he was dead. But he is still around because I have seen his car at work. Next time I see his car there I will swing by to see how things are going and pass along the message. Matt -

"It" is coming along, right now I get to drive it everyday to get it broken in but no Turbo yet:(. "It" is also finally running on the Megasquirt but needs a bit more tuning. As always free every weekend after 6:00 on saturday. Matt P.S. Stickers are always good, and the bigger the better. -

T-case lift FAQ (transfer case questions / answers)
ThreeEyedBandit replied to bushbasher's topic in Off Road
For Sami T-Cased drive lines just get the donor drive shafts and one extra flange for a subaru diff and, since the crosses are the same either one(you will need six total). If you grab all the above parts you will have everything you need. List of materials in order of use -------------------------------------------------------------------------- For the intermediate shaft- 1-Stock subaru output to transmission 2-Subaru caps and bearings to adapt the subaru output shaft to the Samurai intermediate shaft. 1-Samurai cross 2-Samurai caps and bearings 1-Stock samurai shaft and flange to t-case The front and rear drive shafts are the same just different lengths(2x)- 1-Samurai Flange 2-Samurai Caps and bearings 1-Subaru Cross 1-Subaru Drive shaft with attached u-joints and flange to the differential. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now with the completed drive shaft just mount the T-Case and shorten the driveshafts to their proper length. -

Ok finalized plan, meet at our house at 6123 foley lane at 9:00ish. Then just drive around the hills and get away from everything for awhile. The house is pretty easy to find, but if you need directions give me a call today at work between 10:00 and 6:00 @ 779-9935. Matt -

Moving EA81 to rear suspension (custom fab)
ThreeEyedBandit replied to SubSandRail's topic in Subaru Transplants
Are you sure that they didnt line up? I know we are running front and rear axles on a diff. and they line up. Maybe the axle was one spline off? The axles should mate with the front or rear diff with no problems. Matt -

Ok, today I talked to the bossman about making sure we could use the parking lot for friday night, and he didnt mind the 'keeping an eye on the parkinglot' aka sitting and watching. But didnt like the idea of the bar-b-que. Said something about have to deal with the city and the downtown planners, so I said ok. So basicaly we need to find a different place to eat, but can sit and watch. Matt -

This kind of makes me think that meeting at Adams house might not be a good idea:rolleyes: ? Or maybe its just me. I am thinking just meet somewhere and take over the parking lot at work during the 'cruise' and show thems boys what fun is all about. Matt -

How does saturday night sound? I am free after six to do stuff, and saturday works most. What is the new job? Matt -
Yes, it has to be mounted between the turbo and the throttle body to work. You could mount it any where else if you want but it will not do andything usefull. Matt
