Usually run a jumper wire from the battery to the fuel pump and the pump will kick back as needed still.

Lots of Subarus !!! Only one old school , guess who !!??? Some early Imprezas and Legacys , and of course the pop 'n hiss crowd which was pretty cool actually. Lots of Sti hardware and JDM rides. All very well put together from my point of view. Going to hope they keep this up and maybenext year we get some of the "local" CT old schoolers out for this winter affair. I left around 12:45 after about an hour there. Looked like there could have been a little "activity area" being set up for some drifting , autocross ?? Perfect weather for our crowd. Snow and ice on the ground and the wind whipping thru you. Sun made it fair and clothing too....chilly but fun. Still not sure who put this show on but there was a special painted car in memory of the Newtown tragedy and some donation station ,etc.

can't find an EA 82 oil pump?1985 GL 10

Ctsuba is the man! Get the reseal kit. We've all done it. Mickey mouse seal , you'll love it ! Hold that one in place with vasoline they tell you in the manual. It'll shift around or fall out and make you angry if you don't add a little goo to keep it while you set it to the block. Have fun and save money. Get that six of good beer and apply liberally. Cheers! ..... And check out my new water pump !!! -
Find his name in the members menu , and send him a message via Private Message or in his Visitors Message box. **** ch72conv at yahoo **** may also work. Let me know if you have trouble and I'll let him know you're trying to get ahold of him. Like a lot of folks working for themselves his days are long and he might not check this board or email much. The move must be completed before the end of January so its hustle time. The further towards that date we get the less time he will have for parts as the focus will be on moving. This is not some bogus alram to get people to jump. We don't play games like that , so please whoever reads this don't wait. And , the move will absolutely mean the paring down of parts so what you may want might end up at scrap. That's just the way it has to be since I truely doubt he will find another location with such square footage. ch72conv at yahoo or ctsuba here on the USMB I will be back up there withing the next few days , probably Saturday.

Earl is in Denver? Nice job!!!! Is he going to mount firetruck lights on it. Sirens and searchlights! Sorry , I had to skip thru and didn't read. Pics were plenty! -
No lead. Is the "caution ....don't let idle race etc. " decal on the drivers door panel? That's the telltale of a true low mileage baru of that era. "drivesubies" Danny is the man to work with for nos parts. I've got some too and lots of good used. "ctsuba" Charlie can help lots too. Enjoy! You'll be able to boast Subaru's highest mpg 4 cylinder car here in the states.

Got your email , thanks! I'll be able to firm up plans after Wed. Glad you bumped up an hour. -
He's very fair in pricing to me. Given the options in CT for used Subaru parts he's number one in my book. You can call F&S in Wtby. and compare. You know anybody else with about 10000 sq. Ft. Of Subaru parts in CT that isn't f and s ??? That just INDOORS. Parts cars also outside. Keep in mind what you would want of your parts you had picked and stored and paid rent to do so ..... Please be considerate. But like I said now is the time where certainly both parties would benefit. Charlie is his own boss and has medical issues that require him to be involved with Yale NH Hosp. And a board member here, of course. So please be understanding.

Pete , you gonna join up with us ??? 30th looking better for work. -
Was just there most of the day. 99 Impreza outback I'm picking items from will have some good parts left. Just have to see what Charlie might still use from it. He has another Impreza sedan and plenty of early legacy parts too. I did not get to go through his older cars/parts Bldg. But I can say for sure that if you own a Subaru built from 1970 thru 1999 there's a great chance he has what you need.

No !!!! You go grab another 2 door or coupe or hardtop and do that. Leave the FE an FE. Thrifty , intelligent , easy to work on. All that these cars COULD be that a 4wd can't be. This one is rare getting extinct.
-
Much to talk about , I have tail lights , etc. Probably Todd does too. Talk soon !! Enjoy !!!

Ctsuba , has lots of parts from 1970 thru the 90's he needs to move much of. He's the best ! Been doing this Subaru stuff for decades! Located in Salem CT on route 85. You'd be helping BOTH parties to do business with him. He's once again forced to move. I'll add more , at work now. Ctsuba - Charlie

Wish you were closer or that I had plenty of time to attack storage and crate one up for you. I know I have at least one. I'll try as I can.

EW- did you score the 1100 that was on eBay awhile back? Was either new or rebuilt. Picture showed it on a stand. I'm not sure you would want an 1100 but it sure was fresh looking and ready to use. If you get desperate "ctsuba" has some 1300's ,1400's,+1600's narrow and widecase. We also have the four port exhaust including new ff-1 huge y pipe. Cheers!

Not sure why they ended up in spam mail if that's the case. Everyone else got through. I don't check the 383 spam mails or so that arrive, sorry. If you saw it wasn't going through several times then why didn't you take that next step and log in here? We have a thread going to keep ALL informed. Glad this is wrapping up! Thanks everybody. Need to get paid from Israel crew and done.
