  1. LOL...I can here 'em now....LOOK OUT!! HERE COMES SUBENSTEIN!!
  2. cool...another mod I was wanting but didn't know if there was such a thing of one that would be a close fit...WoooHooo:banana:
  3. cool...I did a google search last night and didn't find a single subaru with one but found that Volvo, Jaguar and the Ford Falcon had them in the glove box also...I didn't think my '86 Hatch had one but had to go check anyways...so now it's got the mirror in the glovebox from my '83 parts wagon...glad I found it...I like my cars to be different and unique, so changing these little things will do that. ~~Lucas
  4. Finally made it to 100!! How is the best way to get the screws out of the dash up behind the dash by at the defrost vents...Starting to think I need to custom make a screw driver just for it by heating one up with a torch and bending it to nearly 90 degrees.....the windshield is in the way. My honda dash was easy, no need for special tools. What was Subaru thinking?? ~~Lucas
  5. I'm very impressed with how clean and stock the interior of your soob is....although I have a very hard time keeping anything stock, I wish my soob was so clean looking....I'm working on it but will take time. ~~Lucas
  6. I've only seen a few but they were taken from other cars but not sure what years/models? What car did you and carfreak85 get these tilted consoles?? Thanks ~~Lucas
  7. Does anyone else have a mirror mounted to the inside of thier glove box dooe??? Never seen anything like that before....Searched the board for it and came up with notta. ~~Lucas
  8. What year/model soob does this console come out of for the stereo at an upward angle...I want one????? ~~Lucas
  9. Well you could do what I'm doing. I've got a few minor cracks in my dash in my hatch. I'm re-upholstering the dash, sunvisors, center arm rest on my hi-rise, the roof liner and eventually the door panels....plan on getting some new seats and re-upholstering them too to match....All in real oak camo, not the cheapo looking camo. pics to come in new thread. ~~Lucas
  10. I've got a couple of Midlands, one I had in my civic and another for my soob but don't really know where to mount it. I don't want it on the dash like alot seem to do with velcro. Also have a top of the line portable that's almost as good as the cheapo cb's for cars that I used when I was a Flagger. ~~Lucas
  11. I got a 2 1/2" tach for $20...just plain black plastic. Mounted top left corner of steering column, works great and doesn't block view. ~~Lucas
  12. My soob has a tach but when I installed one on my Civic I mounted it on the steering column, not in the way of anything and easy to see. But if I didn't already have one in my soob, I'd buy an 'A' pillar guage cluster and mount it in the cluster on the A pillar. That would look the cleanest and is in good view. ~~Lucas
  13. Guess I never noticed it, but then my dad was a truck driver and my mom drove school bus, so I never had any problem with driving a manual. I'll have to test it on my hatch not that I need it....thanks. ~~Lucas
  14. Probably going to make all the brat fans kinda sick but I let a brat go to the crusher that was offered to me super cheap. but that was before I became a member here and didn't know how popular the brats were to so many people....was a rust free t-top.... he just wanted to get rid of it and another soob car...hind site I'da bought it and at the minamum saved it's life and sold it or kept it for myself...I kick myself now. ~~Lucas
  15. I'm not meaning to hi-jack your thread but what is a hill holder cable??? ~~Lucas
  16. I've got an 86 hatch and took off my rear bumper after some searching for bolts...they are there just in some odd places. sorry can't help ya any more than that since I don't have my rear bumper any more. Maybe someone else can be more specific.
  17. I swapped out my lower one for a hi-rise and just took the old bracket from the car I got the hi-rise from and it all just fell into place in the existing screws...didn't have to change anything.
  18. couldn't find anything to match a guage from a dodge raider....hmmmm
  19. wow...good question...wonder what that would consist of and how much trouble it would be...the benifit would be worth it I think...could this actually happen??
  20. *BUMP* My soob is almost ready to go hit the trails and test out the lift, just wanting to know some good places around here?? Anyone local know of anything??
  21. I think I'm looking at my car's twin...same light bar too...simular bumper...your's it a little higher but not much and bigger tires but the paint is almost the same...like your camo better than mine too...going to re-camo mine this summer...already have the paint...What size and kind of tires are those and how do you like them? Wouldn't happen to have any other pics of it? PM me if you do, would love to see them. Sorry for the hi-jack...wasn't my intentional. Just in Shock and Ahhhh!!!LOVE your car!!
  22. Is this one from a Tercel?? '85 Toyota 4Runner JCWhitney Really like the 4Runner best but your's McBrat, is pretty nice too...not too crazy about the one from JCWhitney. ~~Lucas
  23. McBrat, That looks pretty sweet...how do you have it mounted?? ~~Lucas
