Tilt Guage???
LiftedHatchSubie replied to LiftedHatchSubie's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Seems like there would be an after market one and I'm really suprised Jeep didn't come out with one at some time.:-\ -
Did Subaru ever put a guage in for tilt...side/side/front/back??? If so what year's makes?? If not I've heard of people putting them in thier car but not sure what they got them outta. Would be cool as hell to put one in my '89 Hatch!!

I've been trying to figure out a way to fasten a set of 2" round 3/16" thick tube to the bottom sort of like nerf bar sliders but up really close to the body. I've damaged the under side under the doors before pushing it up to touch the bottom of the doors. really would prefer to not do that to my '86 Hatch.

any one have upholstery rebuild manual?
LiftedHatchSubie replied to ochange's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I'm also interested in this but didn't realize there was a manual...would be helpful...I'm tired of seat covers, they never fit right so they look really good and you can always tell when someone has one on....especially on the Subaru and Honda seats...besides would be nice to have matching front and rear seats agian....lol -

These would look awsome on my '89 Honda Civic Hatchback...oh yeah!! -
I towed my '83 d/l wagon and my '86 d/l hatch on a tow dolly as is with no problems, just kept it at the speed limit.

I gotta say even that is an under statementI'm finished with the Power Mirror Conversion.....And it's my opinion that anyone can do it in just a few hours time at most. It's plug-n-play all the wiring under the dash is already there just need the wire in the door and plug it in, thread it thru the door, hook it up to the mirror. I wish I had done it before but I kinda let the thought of the wiring intimidate me into putting it off.

Huge Mud Run Oregon
LiftedHatchSubie replied to Shadyirishmen's topic in Meet n' Greet. Your USMB Welcome Center
Damn...don't think I'll have my lift done by then and then not sure if funding would allow it unless the people buying my horse get it together before then. Definatly going to keep an eye out for other runs up there, I used to live near St Helens...lots of awsome off roading up there. If I don't make it up there have fun for me too. -
Both my cars have EA81s...hope I can find something to put the second engine, 4 speed trans, and complete running gear in. If I can't find another Subaru then I got my eyes on a VW Rabbit I'd like to try a conversion on....guess if push comes to shove then I might sell the extra but don't really want to do that unless have to.

Forgot to mention that I use Royal Purple high performance 100% synthetic oil in my 89 Honda Civic hatchback that I'm converting to raceautocross and up at Portland International Raceway(PIR).' *edit* and also used it in a '01 Ford Focus and in both card noticed a definate horse power gain. I'm thinking about using the Water Watter in my '89 Subaru GL Hatchbackbecouse it does seem to get a little hot when it just idles for a little while...not sure if that's notmal but my Honda did that when I first got it too.
