You coming up for this years' HP snow run on 12/7? I'll be there in the XV.

I'm positive the XV will do 120 without batting an eye. I've never gone beyond 110, but am sure it would do that. I'm pretty sure it would beat a 2.2 5 speed imp in a straight line too. The speed is deceiving, it's got more poop than it feels like. 148lb of torque ain't bad coupled with the 4.44.

It's easier than you think, and it's nice when that damn noise is gone. I mean come on, it's only 3 steps.

If you off road a stock 97 outback, you aren't really wheeling. truth. this: It can be argued that a super well built Subaru can go where a locked solid axle rig can go. I would say this. Maybe, but probably not. And the solid axle rig can do it slowly and gently when needed, rather than having to mash the pedal and hope for the best.

Ken, Zap, whoever. lol Thanks for posting that. I hope there's video of me going around that tree that everybody got caught up on. . . I talked a lot of smack to the jeep guys about how to do it, I felt a lot of pressure to get it right the first time. Nailed it.
