  1. The Hybrid is about 1 more mile per gallon, no spare tire, just batteries. Get a 2016 or newer. They've gone through the suspension some, made it a quieter ride. I love mine.
  2. Still in love with her.
  3. Not an AT - type tire, so not comparable to the Yoko, but good to know they work as an AS. As this is the Off-Road forum, focusing on tires that work well (better than?) off the pavement, too. You noticed. lol Here they are next to each other.
  4. I had those on my newest Crosstrek. HATED THEM. Wet pavement is like ice with those on. If you like slowing down for corners so you won't slide, these are for you. Pawned them (on STi wheels for a pretty penny) and bout some BF Goodrich comp 2 AS. Way more aggressive pattern that works on the dry pavement and kills the wet. They did fine in the snow too.
  5. Tough to suggest things when we don't know what kind of car it is. . .
  6. Take care of your self.
  7. The little sucker is on its way home. Once again, I own a lifted Brat.
  8. The size that goes best with your power train. A nice 27 inch tire. You pick the tread. Aiming for mud? Rocks? Snow?
  9. Man, I'm sorry about the problems you've had. I've been lucky. . . Glad it got resolved.

The entire tub of my Jeep is Rhino Lined. LOVE IT!!!!!!! Carpet be damned. The drain plugs are all removed. Any water coming in leaves on its own. Clean it? HA!!!!! It's my wheeler.
  11. Did you read the second part of what I typed? wtf
  12. I ordered three of the Crosstreks, have to wait till January to get them. I have the other ones, WRX, Legacy, Outback and Forester.
  13. lol. You know those motorized cars for kids they sell at Toys r Us? Even the ones with knobby tires are lame for traction. So I screwed a bunch of self tappers into the rear tires. Works AWESOME!!! But unless I had to traverse some serious ice in an emergency, I would NEVER screw something into my tires on my cars.
  14. 1-2 year old Crosstreks tend to cost nearly as much as a new one.
  15. I've thought about lifting the Crosstrek, but like it the way it is. . .
  16. Nope. Turns out mine's not a 4 banger YJ pos. I bought mine with the absolute mindset to wheel it. As often as possible. And I do. Did I mention it's a convertible too? :headbang
  17. A box with bags of school supplies just showed up. Pens, colored pencils, crayons, erasers, coloring book, etc. I've been lucky. Out of 58 Subarus I've ever owned, only one had a head gasket problem. It was an XT turbo, go figure.
  18. Poser pic "Look Mom!, no leaf springs!"
  19. Got to wheel with the Subarus! Had a blast. Scott snatched this pic while we were off the trail waiting for others to catch up. I love my Jeep.
  20. Nice! My belly sticks down too low to even think about playing on rocks like that. Dig it! I got out last weekend too. Wheeled with the local Subaru guys.
  21. Ubaru. Wrong thread. And I KNOW that everything you know about my ride you read on the internet. Cuz nothing you said is true about my Jeep. Go get yourself a Rubicon TJ, drive it for 3 years, wheel the hell out of it and then come back here and talk out of your rump roast like you are now. Dana 44s front and rear. Stock. My Jeep has a 3 inch lift to clear the 33s. Otherwise it is stock. And it will kill whatever car you spend the next however long it takes you to get on the road when it comes to offroad. JesZek. It was a joke, Scott was leaning on my Jeep goofing around. lol His pretty awesome buggy is farther down the line.
  22. Not sure what your problem is. But you are pretty annoying. Everybody there had a blast. Nobody minded the Jeep, but they did marvel at how easy it made the trail look.
  23. Scott finally grabbed a Jeep.
