Pics From 01/29/2011 Walker NWWO
The control arm was making noise all day, I think it was on its way out but the longer radius arms where the Icing, as for the Swampers...... amazing, they bit so hard I couldnt belive it, the hooked up so good that I need and EJ swap, the ol' EA81 just dont have the power to really even spin them. I was very impressed with them, but my clutch thought otherwise Im sure...lol Jeff

EJ22 VS EJ18 Power ?????
So I did a search to see if EJ18's have as much power as an EJ22 but the seach came up with 60 bazzillion results that didnt hit what I was lookin for. So My question is, In the EJ world, do 18's have as much power as a 22? With my new tires I need more power, the EA81 is not cutting it. Any info is good info................. unless you dont have one and you are just assuming............. Jeff

New Tires............. Swampers!!!!
I just got them on this afternoon, picked them up in White Center around 10am and had them on my car at about 3pm, I cant wait to use them, but I got a little work ahead of me before I can go wheeling again. This last Run was a bit hard on old Butters, I broke a couple of welds, tore a mirror off and smashed some of my pannels up. Not to mention I need to pound over the pinch welds and trim a little on the fenders, 30s would work with little cutting and pounding but the 31's with lots of tread, need some clearance............................ 2" lift help on rear
This is mine off my car its an 8" lift but you can see how you cut the eye off the bottom strut and add how ever much you want for your lift......... 3eyedwagon added that piece on the back to make it stronger, on the 2" you dont need to do that................. Jeff

Lookin' for a Front Li'l Lift
I have put a ton of 2"lifts on with not dropping the crossmember at all, one inch blocks would be fine, no problems at all, the only problem is getting them in there, the bolt and the stud will want to hit each other I think...................... If you do a 2" cut them at 17 degs it makes it even better for dirving on the road, your tires will sit a bit flatter to the road... Jeff

Ya it might take a few fuel filters to get that cleaned up, but at least your on the right track, I figured since there was no Gas in the tank and that the cap was off that might be an issue, at least you got it figured out.... Hope you like it. It looks really good, Sorry Rick and I didnt get those fenders cut, we went up to dinner at Grandmas house and I for got about it..................... sorry..... Hope you like it!!!! Just need to weld the rearend up and your race ready!!! Jeff

I agree with Scott, you might be able to make its some of the places but at one point, you'll be stopped. Its pretty hard core up there in places..... Jeff

Lost Block Pic's
I've done it both ways and I found its way easier if they are not welded. Trying to strech your control arm and axle and extra 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch is sorta hard on things. Just my 2 cents........... Jeff
