  1. I got the same thing going on in my 83 brat, and I got a light out. In my 82 the light just stays on if a light goes out. Jeff
  2. For the Washington guys South Side brake and clutch in Tacoma sells front axles for 57 bucks and no core charge. rear axles are 75 bucks and they are FWD axles. Jeff
  3. I couldn't give up on it. I had to make it work. so finally I did!! Jeff
  4. I have had this happen before. check your motor mounts. If they are shot the motor will go up and down, making the CV axle strech. I went through 18 in my Brat before I found out what it was. The 19th one was put in a year ago, I also replaced the motor mount at the same time. I have had no problems since. Jeff

  7. That sounds like somthing that would happen to me! lucky no one got hurt, there has been a big problem with tires coming off rigs and hurting or killing people going the opposite way. At least it got all the all the way off the road with no harm. Good to hear that you got it all the way home! Jeff

  9. I've made 2 4" lifts for my rigs the hardest part is the strut blocks. Scott in bellingham made a set for me on my second lift.He used channel Iron for them. I don't have a pic, but scott may have one, They are the way to go. Jeff

  13. I am going to have a batchelor party on the 23rd of august, and go wheeling. you are more than welcome to come . I don't want a big drinking party where everyone blacks out for 2 days but just a nice and mellow party, and not all the other stuff that goes along with batchelor partys, so I want to keep it clean and go up to walker and wheel all day long. then come back to my place for a BBQ.   20. I lifted my last EA-81 for under 20 bucks. go the the rim pile and look for 4x2 square tubing. and for the bolts I got zinc plated for a shear point. Since on my brat I have grade 8's and I tear the bolts out of the body.:-\ Jeff:banana:

  22. I got mine tinted. The only thing I don't like is backing up in the dark with the head lights on. You can't see crap. Jeff
