Scott I think you might know more about my car then I do:lol: , But here it goes. I bought an 86 2" SJR lifted Wagon from Scott back in April or so. any ways I am on the 3rd motor so far but I got it figured out now I have and EA81 in it. And I have 30x9.50x15's on it. I got the 235 on the 83 wagon. The last time out wheeling She did great, Never even got stuck, But I played it cool. I also took the Brat out @ the same time but It did fair as well. I blew the trans. out and had to replace it so I could go wheel that day. Changed it out in 4 hours!! here is the brat. Jeff- ea 81 running like crap
Just to add to this too, Also check both of the fuel filters, the one under the hood and the one right in front of the left rear tire right at the fuel pump. It could be worth a try to just replace these, 14 bucks and you could be good to go. Jeff- WCSS Astoria , wheres the trails , lets do a run during that weekend
I might be in, depending on what car(s) I bring down for the show. Jeff- WCSS Convoy from the Skagit/Whatcom/Snohominsh Co's
I Was wondering If any of the Northern Washingtonians would like to Convoy down to to the WCSS all together. BC people are more than welcome aswell. Zefy that means you Too, Call into Work Dead if you have to:grin: who wants to roll down together? Jeff- need a little help, 89 XT turbo
That's kidna the funny thing too, it will start sometimes with it floored, but it isn't right and I don't want to have to push start it in the middle of town:rolleyes: . havn't done that yet, but Im bound to sooner or later. Jeff- need a little help, 89 XT turbo
I'm on over there already, thank you though. Jeff- need a little help, 89 XT turbo
The Starter is working and doing everything just fine. While you are cranking on it to get it to start, you can smell gas, lots of gas, and it seems kinda "bluber" like its trying to start, but it is flooded to beat the band. Jeff- need a little help, 89 XT turbo
With out the car running and the key on it is 12 and with the car running it is a 33. Jeff- need a little help, 89 XT turbo
Right on I'm on there already I think but I'll go see what I got right now!!! Thank you Jeff- need a little help, 89 XT turbo
Sorry it is an 1987.5. got to many Subarus:rolleyes: Jeff- need a little help, 89 XT turbo
So I got a problem. I just bought an 89 turbo XT. Everytime you run it for a while and shut it off it seems to not want to start back up.....At all. You have to wait till it cools off, or you can push start it, then it will run perfect. Once you get it running the ECS light comes on. I don't know what this runs. I thought that it was the termo sending unit, the one that tells the computer what to do, but that has been replaced. along with the wires. If anyone has had this happen or knows why this is happening what did or do you do to remedy it. The car looks like it wants to go play in this nice sun:banana: Jeff- MPG's and 29" tires
I don't think so, Spfi is a whole nother deal. Spfi is good, but you can't really convert that to well. If it was carbed you could do it pretty easy. But I think there are less problems with SPFI. I'd stay with that. Jeff- Happy Birthday Todds!!
Happy happy birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jefff- Wagons only - post your pictures here!

Good It has an EA81 in it now, thanks to Andy (uncoolperson), That wagon is a good runner now, it only took 2 or 3 motors. But it works good, I took it back down there last night and she is sweet. Jeff- A few pics of Wheeling this weekend
Woody the maker of the Monster Sedan The hidden Brat I also want to make sure that Will (3eyedwagon) gets credit for taking all these pictures. I did not take any of these but Will did a very good job of taking all of them. Jeff- MPG's and 29" tires
