  2. My Wagon Rockin Some 15" Flat Spoke Pugs Running 195-60/r15's:banana::banana: picked em up for 100 bucks i think that was deals

  6. alright i dont think ill need studded tires anyway i made it threw the snow this year without a problem with street tires and 4wd
  7. found myself doing 65 down the I-5 SB cruising and suddenly BOOOOM!!!! my rear tire blew up... so i go to change the tire to find out that i forgot to pack my jack..... so i had to call my bro to bring me a jack and another tire.... this is what the tire looked like on the rear. the front was hit as well but only went flat so 2 hours of doing this to my studed tires i ended up with a driver again And to top it allllll off my power steering pump just died HAHAHA im lucky the car didnt blow up the way this day was going :-\
  8. ive had my brat do that turns out the caliper went bad and when you set the e-brake it doesnt retract.... id rebuild them and lube em up
  9. you should put water proof speakers in the panels by the jump seats!
  10. i just did head gaskets on my ea81 its a hydro lifter engine how do you adjust the hydro lifter setup...
  11. bumpo what would cause low oil pressure after all this?
  12. also what would cause low oil pressure after re-ring and head gaskets.... im not losing any oil any where.... i did clean all the carbon build up in the heads and block and there was alot so im lost on that to...
  13. i used standard napa rings i donno what they were.. no meat on the case to drill and tap from what i could tell the block i have actually has the casting for it i made sure to use wd40 while honing and then brake clean to rise as much as possible away.... then ran it 10 miles and changed the oil again now im running it 500 more miles then ill change the oil again
  14. GD i did hone the cylinders without splitting the block i know it is redneck and i also payed attention to ring spacing and allignment but i had to get the engine running again in 1 day.... it took 15 hours to remove re-ring put headgaskets in and put it back in.. i didnt think anything of the other engine i bought untill i found it didnt have the power steering pump bolt holes which forced me to rering and put head gaskets in this one
  15. i guess the only funny thing is i never pull the distributor and the battery has good voltage as it is brand new so i guess ill still check the timming
  16. i just did a re ring and head gaskets on my ea81 and im having hard starting now like it has really high compression and its hard turning over plus you have to feather the throtle to get it to fire but it runs and idles perfect after it is started what could this be?
  17. well since your gonna tow it please pull the rear driveline or else those 950 miles will destroy your tranny
  18. hmmm good point... maybe the tranny is fried... although then it wouldnt matter if it was towed i guess i didnt think that one through:grin: and it was a joke anyway :-p
  19.:banana:easy fix leave the enigine running while your towing it on the dolly and you get the lubrication you need and all is well:banana::banana:
  20. yeah you have to pull ther pins holding the ends on then shorted each end about a inch then you have to shorten the inside of the end caps fluch to the inside then dril new holes for the tiny pins and re asemble and dont forget to preload the spring so it will retract
  21. its not perfect but it gets the job done because ive never even seen a original one
  22. :lol:all you ea81 wagon owners it can be done i just cut down a loyale cargo cover to fit i've been up all night wondering if it could be done so i tried it... pic to come in the morning time for sleep:banana:
