what did you do comming up to the hill... check your plug wires check the rotor and make sure it's on alot of things could have happened

what type of spark plugs are you using... ive had problems with the higher end plugs out of the box giving me this problem now i use e3 diamond fires or standard ngk's

when the car overheats you oil will thin out giving you low oil pressure its a cause and effect thing

you had to deck it? was the block warped.... because it never got over running temp while i owned it. it didnt burn to much oil it mostly leaked it. (it marked it's teritory) that engine ran like a champ every day untill i swapped it though... and it is amazing at 218,000 miles it still has the factory cross hatching

that the one you got from me? i didnt think it was that bad it had blown head gasket symptoms for only maybe under 2 weeks befor i swapped it... it never got hot or anything just steamed:eek:

that thing grounds to the body and the neg (-) side of the coil but i doubt thats your problem as i run my ea81 brat without it:-\
