jackstands are fine i had the coupe on 4 of them for 3 months compleatly off the ground as i did the ej swap and 4x4 stuff.

when i got my first soob it was a 1985 red wagon with the DR 5 speed bone stock me and two buddys whent wheeling and got high sunk in down to the frame rails we hoped someone would come by and we could get pulled out but we had gone wheeling at 10am on a wednsday so needless to say every one is at work and we are out of cell phone range and 16 miles from the nearest person. finaly we got out to someone on the CB radio they where about a mile out and came to help we got home around 1030pm coverd head to toe in mud. second in the same car about 3 months later i was playing out on some old dirt roads and had a tire start going flat so i start booking it out of the hills (again no cell phone reception) i finaly get to the flats but still on gravle i finaly lose the tire still out in the middle of BFE i slow to about 20MPH and kept trucking allong oh and so you know the tire was my spare so anywho im going along and what do i start to hear but ssssssssssss my other front tire started going flat so i speed up to about 40mph luckaly it was mostly straight roads after about 5 min i lost the drivers tire so both front wheels where on the ground but i kept going finaly i get bars on my cell and call for some spare tires. one of my worst fears is being stranded i dont like having to leave my rig in the middle of nowhere let alone sit in the dark alone in the middle of nowhere

na na na i like the idea you have going but the car is too new frog. yes nothng is set in stone this is just another one of my projects starting out just as the coupe i have now was it will be done when i get all the peices and some spare time to do it chopping a brat rear and fitting it to a coupe or something thats alot alot alot of work i know you may think its the right way to do it but honestly the brat is already a truck no reson to use it on something els. chopping a subaru coupe,xt6,imp is something different thats what im about i assure you bill and i will make it strong some people seriously under estimate how strong the subframe really is and it wont take much to make it safe and strong oh and most of all look bittchen not wanting to step on toes i really like all the feed back thanks guys this thread will keep going rob:)

if i remember right io dont think schwabs has any the store here tryed to sell me hubcaps like the plastic ones that cover the whole wheel uh... no thanks good luck Rob.

i have a set of them i think they are from les schwab but this is what mine looks like i have all 4 caps picked them up for 20 bucks with tires

not shure i want to cut my coupe up i meen its the straightest one ive seen here in yakima or kittitas county i think ill start looking for another one and build it from the ground up like i did my curent one.

i might be able to swing by i wont be wheeling but maby as a day thing han out maby ride along as i dont own a lifted rig ATM Rob

i say go for it i am soooo temted to lift my coupe but it looks soo good low to the earth i will wait till i find another if thats even possible its got to be the straitest ea82 coupe in yakima/kittitas county i have seen a few driving around but they are beat to HELL

haha hell yeah i figure there wouldent be much to do after mesuring it a jillion times cut then weld a back wall in maby some 1/8th inch sheet metel leave it solid untell i get a gaskit for the glass i have the side windows would be cheap (flat glass usualy is) oh yeah wow i have to much time to think.

oh if i do it im doing it to the coupe no welding extra doors shut,rear is already boxed in,way les metle to remove and the bigger doors ads to the comfort factor it would be just like a real UTE but cutting your RX corps would help

yeah but this time i would be paying you to do the welding so it didnt look like swiss cheez wire feed is better for that then an industrial stick welder hahaha.

wow that was a way more positive respons than i thought i would get. im liking it more and more i have someone in mind that would be doing the sheet metal work oyu know who you are the fenders look great
