my 1990 legacy i will give you some history i got it for 300 bucks and it leaked oil so here it gose i fixed that it was the front main THEN the clutch went out fixed that THEN it lost the crank pully fixed that THEN the front drivers CV went fixed that THEN the front main started to leak due to the crank pully wobble lost the engine fixed that with a lower mileage engine THEN just a few minuts ago the temp guage started to go through the roof and just my luck it blew a headgaskit im done with this car. all this in the last 5 months LOOK FOR IT IN THE FOR SALE SECTION LOTS OF GOOD PARTS 1990 leg 5 speed AWD :END RANT:

ok well i have found the wheels i want to use they are 16 inch enkies and.... THEY ARE 6 LUG !!!!!!! and i found rear disk breaks so nice wheels and rear disks check it out i like the way it looks sorry for the poor paint work.

hey thnx for the reading guys im gonna pull both the legacy stuff and my coupe stuff and check it out see if i can make lemonade with the lemons i have haha as i dont really have money for a 5 lug swap but all in time i suppose. thanks again and anyone that has info or pics plz dont hold your tongue let me know. inside of bumper mounts is 3' 3" bumper at its widest points from outsidedrivers to outside passengers is 5' 2" kthxbai

ok so i searched and read. i have a set of 17 inch TSWs on my legacy and i have a parts legacy i want to use it for parts for my 89 coupe i know i can use the fronts and i know what has to be done but i would also like to use the rears for the 5 lug swap aswell what to i have to do to put the rear hubs on my coupe i know the tophats are different on the rear struts but would i be able to use the spindal/backing plates/breaks ect. on the rear of my coupe ? im using an ea82 turbo trans and rear diff. with 25 spline in the front 23 in the rear let me know thanks guys Rob.

oh yes timing belt kit,TPS,oil and filter and all four axles are brand new with lifetime warenty also i have my handy tool box with everything i need to pull the engine,trans,alxles everything really and my small floor jack. anything els? would be nice to get info of things you guys have needed on a trip and not had just out of the blue. OH and a spair tire haha.

so i figure ill sart this thread i finaly got my coupe to my new house in union gap Wa. and all my parts and i finaly have an asphalt drivway so i can use my engine hoist im so exited its like a big jigsaw puzzle i have all the parts now i get to put it together. That aside my GF and I are going to go see part of america. lol from here in washington down to colorado then utah to see some friends then down to arkansas to visit family and back through new mexico to visit friends continue through las vegas to the california mexico border and drive from the bottom all the way back through cali,ore, and finaly ariving back in washington. im so exited im posting this here because i want to get board members names and addresses for along the way ill post my rout so people along it can PM there info im gonna be puting a photo album together it will also be here on the board. im really stoked i love road trips. more to come check back often thanks. i feel ya my legacy had a vibration in the crankshaft then the rear main seal went when i was on the freeway bad deal i had to use the engine i got for my ej coupe swap so i have a car to drive now i need to find another engine good luck whatever you decide Rob

here is my old car with bills 6 inch lift i was very satisfied never bent or broke.

i think it would be neat but not like chop cut rebuild style. i think a nice vinal sunroof would be cool but a big one so it opens up over bothe the front and rear seats. Rob.

nice i have fallen in love with the 3door mine is gonna be sooo sweet your lucky to have found one thats already 4x4 i am converting mine but i have the kick rump roast quad headlights i love having all those watts out front mines the DL i hope you enjoy it i cant wait to get mine back on the road with the EJ

the struts are KYB 4x4 subaru replacement and i beleave the springs are stock i pulled them from a parts car i had a while back sand blasted them and repainted them

ok so made a big step forward on my coupe project got the 2wd subframe out and the 4wd subfame in whata dog that was but i love the way it sets plenty of ground clearance although its a road car it might see some dirt roads and a little clearance is nice. KYB goodness

im glad to hear it i just got my legacy back on the road for my DD so now i can focus on the coupe
