HEY lol thats what the car did after i went through a puddle. but i doubt you put a hole in the block. check the maf sensor if it has water in it then thats your problem. other than that idk. yes it is mpfi all turbos are and an easy way to check that is there will be an injector over each spark plug.

yeah thes old soobs are weird that way my 80 gl gose to half and sits there. you turn the heat on it dosent move but the hot air turns to cool air afterlike 5 seconds any one have an idea. i havent checked the thermo yet

when you pull the covers and you can see the belts and marks usea wherench and breaker bar to turn the engine over so they should be lined up and if they arnt then there you go.

maby your timing belt poped a notch iv had that happen once.

try redoing the berrings its a little more work but my 1980 did the same thing replaced the berring and vibration went bye bye.

im a big fan of the black lol. mostly because it is the one color i cna do good and it covers better than most paint. on my hatch i think im gonna go with the stock maroon color.

i like how the speedo gose to 130 and my wagon only gose to 85 wish they were that optimistic when they built my car.

hey finaly got my weber for a deal to a guy my dad knows had a brand new one and he needed a window for his hatch and someone to put it in. so i found one in a junk yard and he traded it to me for the windshield and me to instal it how cool is that here are some pics any one got an adapter plate for the ea81,ea82. thanks. PS it is the 32/36 with electric choke:) tell me what you think and iff you have an adapter (OH i also need the little clips for the top.) thanks again rob.

hey i have a 1980 subaru gl 5 1600 wagon 5 speed 2wd. i was just wondering how many ea81 body style cars came with the 1600 ea71 engine. cause mine is the only other one i have seen around here. would be cool if it was kin ofa raredy. but yeah any one have any info ? thanks Rob

i dont think the ea81 intake will work on the ea71 at least thats what im told but ea82 to ea81 intake and vice versa will work.

i am going to be doing that soon. idk if i will do it on ym hatch or my brat x cab first but eather way they will both be nice with some chevy wheels.
