  1. definately going to try for it. i've already at least planned to stop by or have your house as the half way point to chill and stay if that's cool.
  2. yes it's a body lift. in a subaru way. but it has properties of both. but just think of it as a body lift. that's basically all it is. i strongly support ozified. those lifts have survived my beatings. which is definately a true test of quality and longevity. if anyone looks for lifting subaru's i turn them to ozified.
  3. so as long as i buy rx pads they are rear discs. and it doesn't matter wether it's out of a wagon turbo? cool. '87 rx it is.

  14. 27" or smaller would be optimal. cooper also makes some like 25" All terrains. a 3" lift is fine for most use.
  15. cool. i sent him like 6 diagrams and a page of how to. cause the link i had to the fix page, was out of date or no longer existant.
  16. ok here is what the problem i had on several of these tranny's. basically over time i would have to travel further left to go into first and further right to go into reverse. not to mention vibrated around some while in gear. does that sound like the problem?
  17. do you have aol instant messanger? this well be easier to explain. cause i don't have an of the old diagrams. my aim name is rooinater. if not i'll explain it here
  18. you don't sound like a jackass. i just want to give you the right advice
  19. monday or tuesday most likely. i need to know where he can meet you and what are the best times. my dad agreed to bring them from seattle to you. i'm working on getting them to seattle as we speak. it'll probably be in the evening cause they can't be picked up till around 3pm in northgate area. i'll need directions and a contact # if he gets lost. post it or email it please.
  20. so you have to make it move farther to get the desired gear? correct
  21. first question before i give an answer. is it a loose shift or just when you are driving the thing is floating all over. first if it's floating all over i'd just add a spring to hold the shifter still. it's on the top of the tranny on the shift linkage. there is also a bushing supposedly you can replace. if your having to travel the stick really far to get in any gear i can tell you how to fix it. i need more details of the problem. i need to know more. is it in all gears, are you having to move the linkage long distances to acheive where you need it to be. or is it just floping around.
  22. http://www.westcoaststompers.com/ga...lbum03/Ev1593_1 http://www.westcoaststompers.com/ga...lbum03/Ev299d_1 favorite's for subafly's car http://www.angelfire.com/80s/rooina...es/texonrox.jpg http://www.westcoaststompers.com/ga...lbum02/Ev11bf_1 http://www.westcoaststompers.com/ga...lbum02/Ev05bf_1 favorite's for tex's car http://www.westcoaststompers.com/ga...lbum03/Ev2999_1 http://www.westcoaststompers.com/ga...lbum03/Ev1d91_1 http://www.westcoaststompers.com/ga...lbum03/Ev1d95_1 favorite's for my car the one i have for eric's brat! the nice shinny blue one http://www.angelfire.com/80s/rooina...s/85uprock2.jpg these are the pictures i nominate, but feel free to use any of my photos i have taken or on my sites. and zapar said you could you use the ones he took on here too. what you should do is take the ones that are given in all these posts. combine a list. then poll for a vote for each month. one vote per person per month. or just 3 votes per person as to what they want in the calender. your going to have to decide on the list of applicable. preferable all of them in these posts. make a new thread with a list of them and a link to view each one of them. then let us vote or we'll all vote for our own. i don't care if mine makes the cut or not, but i hope yours does especially after going through the trouble to make these. so one of your car must be in there or ill be disappointed start a poll thread, and then another for best shot of brians car. if mine makes the cut i nominate it for april cause it's my bday or november because that'll be my 229th bday that month. (marine corp bday nov. 10th i have 2 bdays now.)
  23. well kind of what it says i'm in dire need of help. i found a used set of tires up on getchal hill in marysville, wa. a friend has a set of trail abused tires. the fronts are i guess a little past half tread and the back ones have a little more tread. but this is a set of 5 kumho m/t 31/10.50 tires for $50. can't pass it cause it fits tightly into my budget, and is what i need. cause i can't afford the tires i want right now. and after tax return i'll be upgrading tires again. but what i need is to find a way to get them down to my car when it's at mudrat's house. john told me that there is someone coming from i believe tumwater. to bring him a car to work on. he's leaving on the 6th of dec. so i need to find a way to get them to him to get there. i talked to my dad. if i can get brian or anyone to pick them up from eric morton's house. my dad can meet them at northgate or further if they can, and he'll drive them to tumwater along with my disc brake kit. all help is greatly appreciated. subafly/brian give me a call. this is a dire need of help so i can go boarding with you in this awesome season you are having.
  24. already gave you my submission list from another post. i'll try to send them again
  25. i rode welded diff in the rear for 2 years up the passes. you just have to relearn how you can drive. how you corner. and pay a lot more attention to how the traction to your tires feel. this year i'll even have a front lsd to go with that welded rear. so i'll be even more careful. slow down a little in corners. i've driven my dads truck with front and rear detroit lockers in the snow and ice. it's definately different. but in deep snow it's a lot nicer in the rear than being open. cause you don't just loose traction. a lot of the time you can keep going. and watch the open diffs slide. in actual snowy areas.
