  1. Huck is getting in touch with Austin.
  2. Are you servicing bearings when you do belts?
  3. Its not a daily. And they will be for the 20-ish miles to the rallyx and for the event. Narrower should be better for rally? Load rating is no big deal for this car. Its a sub 2300 pound fwd XT. I don't care about the 30 buck price difference. I just think the 155s might have more grab in the dirt
  4. Nice more xts on the board is always good.
  5. I haven't heard anything. I can email huck.
  6. actually. my model calls for 165sr13 never even heard of those. has the 175s on it now. doing the tire size claculator... I'm going to buy the 155s. they will be just fine!
  7. 175-70 is the suggested size. but I found the winterforce at in stock size for only just a littel more. I got impatient and asked a question before doing enough research. I am good now! thanks! oh and these ain't fer snow. cause we don't get that here.
  8. 155-80-13? these are a good price, new and are Winterforce. or should I pay a little more for 175-70-13?
  9. it looks fine at 200% I just checked. in fact it looked quite good at that size.
  10. don't turn the air compressor up to 11. use a small cheap one without out a whole lot of force, I believe a large compressor might damge the core. I have founf the air to be much more effective quickly then other methods. this spring I intend to get filters for the cooling system for both my cars.
  11. I agree. Go Get your jack. I'll be back in an hour and hope to see results.
  12. Mine did that. I pulled the hoses loose and used my air compressor to blow air through in both directions
  13. Yeah I did that last year. But I did see a thread on subaruxt.com about gear oil riding a bad cable to the speedo. Could have gear oil in it.... Maybe.
  14. Mine does the opposite reads zero if its under freezing and will intermittently react.
  15. I have pondered how an XT nose would look on another Ea82 car. haha I like it! would love a 3dr coupe with an XT front end!
  16. do these have grease in them I can clean and replace? that's the only reason I can think that it does this.
  17. and I have had them sit for six months and the gas go bad. I figure it's the humidity here. water in the air causes fuel to turn?
  18. 88 wouldn't be a flapper maf. and it looks to be 4wd to me. did I miss something? I think it looks pretty good. but yeah the car I risked a long drive on was from a forum member who had been driving it around and tinkering on it. I LOVE those spoilers. Rob, I would probably buy this. if it was a state over. say Georgia or Tennesee. some of us can't be picky in the places we live.
  19. it was there. just not fully attached. I didn't know that at the time...
  20. I drove an xt turbo back from utah.... Craziest adventure of my life. Lol No speedometer, no tach, no air in the struts. I made it back fine.
  21. Lifting an xt is fine but this is a legend.... It's more tail of the dragon than woodswagon.
  22. For now i'll plan on running the DL in stock class. Then over next winter I plan to put some time and money in it thinking franken motor awd and a cage etc. or just buying something faster. But XTs just suit me....
