  1. man i get so jealous of you washington and oregon folks. I did see an EAwagon sitting in a yard with four flats yesterday. I may knock on the door and see if they um... need it removed. I did get my XTDL for 400 and MY GL for 900. so I'm not doing bad. but you guys have it made.
  2. DL! If you need any specific info me and RPHolz both have DL xts and will be happy to assist. If you by a mirror I would like to buy the delete plate. (in fact I might trade you a blue mirror for it...)
  3. http://subaruxt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=10030 Wiper info.
  4. Because of the turbo and the manifold design it shouldn't be awful to drive without a muffler. Nice project i'll be watching for your interior build. I have one that needs some help my self.
  5. running the small honda car battery in my XT it's plenty for the car... I wish they would hurry up and make a tiny car twelve bolt battery the one in my laptop (while not 12v) is a good example of what i mean. that sucker lasts for HOURS.
  6. the switch on the top of the column. sometimes my tails go out and if I wiggle the column switch they come back. I'll be replacing that soon.
  7. had i realised I could have saved a few bucks and had my starter quicker. oh well. good to know for future reference.
  8. I need some of those filters. very neat. where are you buying yours?
  9. manual or auto? doesn't matter? I could have sworn I saw that they needed different starters.
  10. I always hear that same bit about PCV valves being better from the dealer. the same was said to me about my old chrysler conquest. truth was the ONLY reason the dealer valve was better was that the sutoparts stores were selling the weaker non-turbo valves for use in the turbo system. I would see if the turbo PCV lists at your local part store as the same item.
  11. Just to further your paradox, my engine tends to have an oil film all over it, but oil level is always full. Theory; your oil is being dripped on my engine via a wormhole.
  12. Like the day glow green wagon wheels.
  13. Usually you find those on base models or DLs Sealed beams are generally not as bright as modern bulbs in housings. I do think the quad lamps look cool though.
  14. Since nobody's said it yet, I will... "EJ it"
  15. looks like an a-arm kit to me. (second link) doesn't look like a macpherson strut setup at all.
  16. 5X5.5 is that 5X114.3? sorry I speak metric not SAE! I would love some hub locks for the front. then I could pick my driven wheels for all occasions. (i have no need for sold rear axles though.)
  17. you can ground that radiator to any ground you want. straight to the ground on the battery would work too. ground is ground. ground it to a good frame grounding point or to the block... or....
  18. Under the intake on the passenger side. Has light colored fuel injector style connector
  19. Same thing here man, mostly trucks.
  20. also I froze my bearings over night, once I had the old ones out the new ones popped right in. a mechanic I know at a local "other dealer" was afraid to try getting the bearing sout for me so I gave in and just tapped them out my self. just be sure to tap on the outer ring not the internal bits. you can do it all before lunch if you get started early and are prepared.
  21. thanks. I have to retract that statement I did see a EAcoupe once. in the pullapart.
  22. I feel like my valves float before that... over 7k but before 8 I'll check that tomorrow. what engine are you referencing?
  23. here's an idea. I see you still have the studs from the old fan on your pulley. if you use two of the fan nuts locked together, you can remove those studs for some more room.
  24. this is a square steel tubing lift? looks good
