  1. ooh great idea! you guys know where to get a high rev cam? subscribed.
  2. finding this interesting. I had no idea you could do so much to a disty. subscribed.
  3. Yah I gotta get a new temp switch for mine. Currently half-azzed myself.
  4. thanks fox but I have it wired right... I haven't at it in afew days.. I have something else to drive and this probably lead me to an EJ....
  5. I actually also tried tuning the engine over by jumping the starter in the engine bay. this should negate the whole spark while cranking scenario. at least I think. I have not checked the ground to the engine....
  6. yeah I checked that first,.. and the rotor... turns out I have the kind without a screw.
  7. coil gets power but no spark at the coil either. I get volts at the coil but no spark...
  8. checked all links and fuses. ecu light comes on with key so it is powering up.
  9. changed coil disty and ignition relay coil gets power 86 XT DL what am I missing?
  10. there's actually to many variables. one would have too build an use several models to find something that worked right. not worth it imho .73 inches might be the magic number. it might be an inch even... you might LOSE power AND economy.. nobody here wants that! unless it's the same Ej22 and exact style spacer that Chux used experience from someone you trust is worth a lot too.
  11. it's a lot of effort for an Ea motor considering nobody already makes one. since we do have a coolant filled intake a phenolic spacer might be worth something... it's a TBi ? right? so be careful you don't hit the hood. going to mpfi and a spider intake would net you HP and better fuel comsumption. (buy you'd have work swapping an EJ)
  12. they are cheaper than the ea alts too. 80.99 on autozone.com and 114 for my stocker....
  13. good! if that doesn't work check all your injector clips for corrosion.
  14. mine has that same pulley/belt. 86 xt DL and that IS an XT turbo Alternator
  15. EA82t alt ea81t alt Maxima alt looks like a go to me! and thanks for the heads up GD!
  16. in the unit huh? what's this going into?
  17. has anybody made a fix for that yet? cause that's something I am considering
  18. thanks for the pics I love those things...
  19. I was looking at that and I see why you want one! that's pretty cool measure a ridgeline bed.... it looks to be shaped similarly you could make your own mount points if you find something they make that's a close fit.
  20. when you put it that way I see what you mean. but when you had more than a 100 percent up there it really got me for a moment I always hated that rump roast who said he'd give 110% that brown-noser knows good and darn well all he has is 100... and that 75 percent is the most he'll likely give. one thing I KNOW for sure... I have 100% to the front wheels at all times.
