  1. any of these legacies have distributors on them?
  2. since it's out there. I am highly interested in your control arms.. then all I need to find are 2wd XT6 rear hubs and I'm in.
  3. the only internal difference between the impreza tranny I opened and the XT tranny I opened was the size of the shaft right at the point where the speed driven gear is. it was thicker there on the impreza. impreza also uses the smaller shaft and smaller clutches. (and why "upgrade" the tranny for the same clutch?) truth be told either way I agree with you that any tranny that allows for a bigger clutch is the best option. sadly enough the 93 impreza clutch disk is identical to the one in my 85 xt non turbo clutchkit.
  4. In my honest opinion if you can get the xt6 for 200 do it... put a timing belt on it the 2.7 flat six is very nice that would make a very fun rig for you.
  5. FWD Impreza 1.8 trannys are no different internally. 2.2 FWD imprezas might be different not sure... the legacy 2wd tranny will accept the 4wd clutches opening the clutch options back up. (you will need turbo axles for this) and it's what kingbobdole has in his EZ30 XT6
  6. it's a shaker hood?
  7. your lift kit looks great! where are you getting those little cubes? or is that a secret? I have no need or want for a lift but the ingenuity impresses me!
  8. that's an odd looking deal....
  9. 3.7 95 percent sure...
  10. very interested in the affordable alternative... I hate the idea of xt6s parted for five lug swaps on wagons.. lol
  11. actually you'd be fine with a FWD car and a big engine. you'll need to do a five lug swap to get some better rubber on the car though...
  12. I dig your wheels, close ups?
  13. ha yeah mine too... non turbo mpfi though...
  14. yeah but in stead of drilling hole where they aren't any you widen the 10 mm holes out to 12 and you're done... the ATV lugs are 10 mm.. as far as tires you could use car or truck tiresm, right? I don't see any reason you can't?
  15. run a sweep test on the tps. (analog mutli meter) I had a similar issue with a bad TPS on a different turbo car.
  16. see now that would be irrelevant...
  17. I didn't expect more from a guy who can't spell coffee. I keed I keed... 137 mm is only 3 away from 140 which is 1.5mm a side... you do realize how small 1.5 mm is right? it's a bout one of these -> _ lol
  18. will a 12 inch wheel clear the brakes??? just curious.
  19. 80 bucks a pop? not really that bad. (now if you want atv tires.)
  20. hello! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Summit-161-ATV-Wheel-14x7-Aluminum-Black-4x137_W0QQitemZ370241017060QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item56341594e4&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245
  21. I've been seeing atv tires and thinking they were close... what do they fit? polaris?
  22. the pugs didn't stick out on my XT.... they were herra Frush though. the problem for 5 lug swap for me is the extreme lack of parts. alabama is pretty dry for subies.
  23. yeah that's the issue... not an issue for a lifted rig but five lug is more for the street crowd.
