New Loyale owner, any advice?
their awesome cars, 230 k is nothing, allot of us abuse them off road, and they hold up surprisingly well, I live 3 miles off the pavement and have 2 gl wagons and a 91 loyale, they never get stuck, (on road) a 4 foot snow drift doesn't count....and we have allot of mud in the east.. have fun

Cordless saw for P-A-P runs
if you just want the sazall check ebay.. allot of people buy the whole kit and sell off the stuff they don't need. I have a ridgid 18 volt, its killer. Milwaukee is allot better quality, bigger price too. ridgid is made in china. but i have had no problems, and they offer a lifetime service warranty even on battery's, I have used the warranty a few times

How do I replace engine/transmission mounts?
shouldn't be that hard, good flat surface, and a floor jack, two bolts on the engine and one bolt on the cross member. one engine bolt toward the rear of the car is hard to get to. its behind the rack and pinion, a ratcheting wrench is nice to have. (like a gear wrench )

86' GL Crank Shaft Pulley Problems
there are three lines on the flywheel. put the center line on the casting arrow, than check if the cams are lined up. one dot should be up and one should be down, they have a illustration in the Haynes manual http://www.finleyweb.net/JonsStuff/SubaruDocumentation/tabid/54/Default.aspx

Cam Seal replacement?
+1 on grossgary's advice. it only takes a few more minutes with the covers apart, there are lots of threads on this subject. i would do the idler bearings and belts too. they have to come off any way, ive done it the wrong way and was back in there 10 thousand miles later.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/85-94-SUBARU-LOYALE-1800-GL-RX-XT-TIMING-BELT-KIT-EA82_W0QQitemZ400025164089QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item400025164089&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/85-94-SUBARU-LOYALE-XT-RX-GL-1-8L-FULL-GASKET-SET-EA82_W0QQitemZ350180098286QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item350180098286&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1171%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318
