I have a 86 GL, 4x4. having trouble finding struts at the local parts house, my question is , are the strut inserts the same on a 2 wheel drive vrs 4 wheel drive , i have a 2 wheel drive parts car with almost new struts, thanks all in advance

i have two rear tubes, but there from 2 wheel drives , i wonder if there the same post some pics if you can, ill do some measuring. your tube is shot, not your control arms.. right ?, ill be in cadallac for thanksgiving , could meet you someware along the way ?? , if you need the body shell, i dont know what to do, they come up from time to time on ebay / craigs list

usally an overvolt (in a hatachi) starts as the internal regulator is about to fail , it spikes like that, its getting ready to fail..

most likely the relay above the fuse panel, i don't have a ea81 here to look at, but i think there similar

yes , Mass Air Flow Sensor , i have had alot off success in cleaning them, also you can clean the throttle body too.

I use a simple muffler cut off tool trimmed the fenders and put 15 inch re drilled Chevy truck rims.. 15 dollars a rim , from the junk yard, thats 60 bucks. and 45 dollars a tire from walmart, close out special, if you could find a matched set of four 205-65 15 tires at the junk yard..maby.... but still I have 240 bucks into it. how cheap is cheap ?

I can get drive shafts at the local pick and pull junk yard, the last one I got was 15 bucks, that was over (70 k ) miles ago, do you have any JY s near you ?

rotate the engine one full turn after the first belt is replaced , than install the second belt , basically one cam hole will point up and the other cam hole will point down , when your done...

chinese rubber is crappy, they dont have a good vulcanising tecnology yet,thats why they have so many people there , fauty rubber

if your just topping the system off, you would need a charge hose and can tap for r12 as well, my r12 system uses half a 12 oz can a year, i would rather buy a can of r12 every year, rather than do a whole conversion to r134 if you convert it to another type of refrigerant you have to evacuate the whole system . i would not recharge the whole system with r12, but topping off would be fine

you may have issues using it on the front wheel. it may rub the brake caliper

Hood ,fenders , yes, no ,bumper and grill is different and if you use the hood you will have to replumb the windscreen squirters, or you can use all four, MORMONS ROCK !!!!

you could try to clean it out, i was able to get a little scale out of mine with carb cleaner. you have to take it out of course, and you can clean out the idle air control valve too ??
