I was going to try and use an 06 WRX muffler on my RX but the muffler is so big it doesnt tuck up and looked huge hanging out the back. I just positioned it there but didnt actually cut or weld anything.

Thanks Guys. Im using a wire feed mig to weld the holes shut, grind them down and finish with a skim coat of bondo. I still need to do the finish sanding on the ones ive done so they looks like bumps right now. Ill post more pics when i get more done

I just realized that i have not posted any pics of my RX since joining USMB and thought this would be a good time since im doing some work on it. Im working on removing the side trim from my RX and I still need to fill in the side quarter vent holes and do the drivers side and some finishing body work. Im just not a fan of the stock side trim

Your RX Looks SICK :slobber: Makes me want to paint mine Black. Can you post up what exactly you used to swap the 5 lugs in?Like years and what they came from. I know its been covered before but once more cant hurt The stance looks perfect too

Thats what i ended up doing, but hate to have to order a part only to find out it is the wrong one and have to wait longer. And with the keyed rotor you wouldnt have to worry about the screw coming out,Extra Insurance.

Thought i would throw this is here for Milesfox, Which Ea82T Distributors have the keyed rotor and which ones have the screw rotor? Seems every time i try to get a new rotor for my 87 RX with the screw rotor it doesnt fit,The screw hole is off Thanks

Does the EJ22 have a Fuel Pump Controller? I read another board where a member swapped an EJ20T in his RS and had a Bad Fuel Pump controller with similar symptoms

+1 i always make sure the pilot bearing fits the output shaft when they are apart,Its something you cannot see when putting them together. Oh and try and rotate the crankshaft pulley and see if they are not just misaligned too. -
Thanks for the replies Guys. I was an A/C tech in CA for 5 years so i know my way around an A/C system. I just didnt know if the current system the way it set up would be able to handle the 134a conversion. Ill give it a try and see what happens. If i need a better fan, then ill replace the existing A/C one with a higher CFM fan.And possibly the mechanical one too Thanks :headbang:
-
After reading it over yeah i didnt make much sense Yes i was refering to the fans being enough to extract the heat from the condensor enough to not blow a hose or seal in the system. Wiring in the electric fans wouldnt be a problem if i do need them later on.
-
In my 87 Rx i need to have the A/C fixed. My question is since R12 refrigerate is outrageously expensive,I will be switching to 134A.Will the stock fans be enough to overcome the extra pressure of the 134A refrigerate or will i have to upgrade to another style that will pull more CFMs? Thanks

If using the 85 Bumper will the RX front bodykit/Valance still fit on there correctly?
