  1. If you pay close attention to the photo of the Black outback, they do exist and were indeed a factory option. I have seen them on multible Outbacks. They attach side roof molding "Rain gutter if you will" and they clear the windows by a fraction.
  2. Since I started this thread way after I did a lot of stuff to the car, here is what the rear quarters used to look like long before I even touched them. Here is when I was in the process of POR-15ing the entire underside (Which has been done for the past 3 years, Still looks great, rock solid. The Genuine Reman Starter. The Peugeots right after I got them from McBrat. After $300 of Power-coating. The 2" SJR. The Spare. New Radiator, Waterpump, Seals and ATF Cooling lines. (2009)
  3. Is it me? Or does the Hound dog look like a "Ballchinien" ?
  4. Yeah they are something else to find. I saw some dude on here took one and hacked it up to fix it on a 1st gen. Turned out really nice too! I want those rain guards on the side of the windows, anyone know where to find them?
  5. Rob, Can I ask what are those little stabilizers on the control arms for?
  6. Anyone ever had a poorly built EMPI? The one I bought to replace the driver side axle with is now starting to knock a little during turning/acceleration. I replaced the passenger side axle with an EMPI which is still nice. The two things I noticed about the 2nd axle I bought was, the Shaft was a smaller diameter, and the CVJ was very stiff (Like they put assy oil in it with no grease) Anybody else had this issue?
  7. Since you brought it up, 8sec Brumby.
  8. Must admit, the wing does fit well (With a little alteration)
  9. Back in the day when TW10 was a normal Legacy.
  10. I get a pic. Basically, since this is Trashwagon; I just tapped into the 12v from the domelight, then grounded the lights to the body and ran a switch next to the 12v outlet in back. Cut a small hole in the Headliner to conceal the wires.
  11. Now this is a cargo light.
  12. Has anybody ever thought about putting Halogen driving lamps in the cargo area of their Legacy? I have! and did. Yes you read right, 55w driving lights for Cargo elimination. Pics to come.
  13. Just make sure they are the same ratio, the Jatco JR507E should be 4.44 if I remember right.
  14. Good to know about the scanner, both O2 sensors are new.
  15. Just replace it with one of lower mileage.
  16. No, mine smells like corrosive Varnish (As if there is such a thing)
  17. What would cause low rough idle right at cold start up? Doesn't rev up like it should, dirty old IAC? Runs fine after a few min of idling. Lower milage clean MAF, new vac lines everywhere, new sensors all around the engine, complete turn up etc. Ran Seafoam through the booster (Now will drive over 70mph without breathing hard)
  18. Supposed to have a low of 23* tomorrow night
  19. Finally have those window switch bezels coming from Cruiserparts.net (Highly recommend these guys) Still need: DS Power Mirror BFGoodrich KM2 Tires Monroe Gas-Magnums Solid Antenna Which of the following can I get done before winter...?
